Connecting the mind

Painting for me has a lot to do with the physical act of laying down the heavy strokes of oil paint. It is also about connecting the mind, the hand and canvas to create an outflow of visual emotion in a very spontaneous way. The rugged Canadian landscape becomes the recipient of the creative outflow, as well as the more imaginary, whimsical paintings of young children at play.
